Lenah Valley route
The easiest, most beautiful, Way to the summit, a path forged by a Lady.
From The Springs, the track contours the slope until Sphinx Rock lookout to the Organ Pipes, Hobart and the whole River Derwent estuary in Storm Bay. The route then passes three stone shelter sheds, each a testament to the mouintain’s long history of bushwalking. The small, but attractive, New Town Falls is a natural stopping spot before the final part of the walk. Good all year round, family walk that caters for people bushwalking their dog.
